A unit of the College of Arts and Sciences at Georgia Southwestern State University offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Many of our majors select our Certification Option and pursue a career as a teacher of mathematics at the high school level. Others opt for our Option in Computational Science Engineering or the pure Mathematics degree and typically pursue jobs in industry or continue their education in graduate school. Members of the department serve as both educators and advisors to our students and work hard to turn out well-rounded individuals with all the tools they need to achieve success in their careers and in life. ***UPDATE
