Meal Plan Options

Georgia Southwestern offers a variety of options when it comes to dining on campus. Locations offered are the Dining Hall, Chick-fil-a, Tryon Market, Café Campesino, and the Canes Convenience Store. All Residents who have not earned 60 credit hours are required to have one of the options below. Students have the option of choosing between the 10, 15, and Unlimited meals per week plans. Residents who have not earned 60 credit hours are required to have one of the options below.) Each meal plan will also have 3 meal exchanges per week at Chick-fil-A and Tryon Market.

Option 1

Meal Plan Option for Residents who have not earned 60 credit hours
$1,935/ Term
  • 10 Meals per week in the Dining Hall
  • $325 Dollars Chick-fil-A, Tryon Market, Cafe Campesino coffee shop, or in the Canes Convenient Store
  • 3 Meal Exchanges per week to be used at any of these locations

Option 2

Meal Plan Option for Residents who have not earned 60 credit hour
$2,030/ Term
  • 15 Meals per week in the Cafeteria
  • $225 Flex Dollars Chick-fil-A, Tryon Market, Cafe Campesino coffee shop, or in the Canes Convenient Store
  • 3 Meal Exchanges per week to be used at any of these locations

Option 3

Meal Plan Option for Residents who have not earned 60 credit hour
$2,135/ Term
  • Unlimited Meals per week in the Dining Hall
  • $175 Flex Dollars Chick-fil-A, Tryon Market, Cafe Campesino coffee shop, or in the Canes Convenient Store
  • 3 Meal Exchanges per week to be used at any of these locations

Summer 2021 Meal Plans

Residents who have not earned 60 credit hours are required to have one of the weekly meal plan options below.) Each meal plan will also have 3 meal exchanges/week at Chick-fil-A and Tryon Market. Meal plans will be available June 2-July 25. Students staying for May term are not required to have a meal plan.

Summer 2021

Option 1
$830/ Term
  • 10 Meals per week in the Dining Hall
  • $100 Flex Dollars that may be spent in the Chick-fil-A, Tryon Market, Cafe Campesino coffee shop, or in the Canes Convenient Store
  • 3 Meal Plan Exchanges to be used at any of these locations

Meal Plan

Option 2
$880/ Term
  • 15 Meals per week in the Dining Hall
  • $150 Flex Dollars that may be spent in the Chick-fil-A, Tryon Market, Cafe Campesino coffee shop, or in the Canes Convenient Store
  • 3 Meal Plan Exchanges to be used at any of these locations

Meal Plan

Option 3
$935/ Term
  • Unlimited meals per week in the Dining Hall
  • $100 Flex Dollars that may be spent in the Chick-fil-A, Tryon Market, Cafe Campesino coffee shop, or in the Canes Convenient Store
  • 3 Meal Plan Exchanges to be used at any of these locations

Meal Plans Available to Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students Only

Residents who have earned 60 credit hours may choose one of the options listed above or one of the following plans.

Block Plan

Juniors and Seniors Only
$935/ Term
  • 80 Meals in the Dining Hall
  • $300 Flex Dollars that may be spent in the Chick-fil-A, Tryon Market, Cafe Campesino coffee shop, or in the Canes Convenient Store

Dining Dollar Only Plan

Juniors and Seniors Only
$500/ Term
  • $500 Dining Dollars (minimum)

Meal Plan Information

  • All residential students are required to have some form of meal plan.    
  • If you wish to appeal the meal plan requirement, please fill out the Appeal of Meal Plan Obligation Form.
  • If you would like to request a change of your current meal plan (only prior to drop/add deadline), please fill out an online Meal Change Request Form or print a hard copy of the Meal Plan Change Request Form and turn it into the Office of Residence Life.
  • If you are a non – residential student and would like to add a meal plan, fill out the Non-Residential Meal Application.
